Hydraulic Cylinder Manufacturing, From Components to Final Testing

Founded in 2008, Yishui Zhongxin Machinery Co., Ltd. manufactures hydraulic cylinders in Shandong, China. Our range includes front-mounted telescopic, double-acting multi-stage, welded and custom cylinders for dump trucks, trailers, construction machinery, sanitation equipment and other mobile applications.

We work with OEM and aftermarket customers to review drawings, installation dimensions, operating conditions and finish requirements. A new production base was built in 2025 to support our machining, surface finishing, assembly and testing operations.

Our manufacturing process brings together CNC machining, welding, deep-hole boring, polishing, chrome plating, cleaning, assembly and testing. The production areas shown below help customers see how we make and inspect hydraulic cylinder components. For custom projects, we review bore, stroke, mounting dimensions, working pressure and installation space before production.

Follow our typical production sequence below. Operations vary with the cylinder design and customer requirements.

01 · Raw Materials and Preparation

1. Cutting: Material is cut using a cutting machine.
2. Rough turning: CNC and conventional lathes prepare the parts.

02 · Welding and Precision Machining

1. Welding: Welded components are produced with welding equipment.
2. Boring: Cylinder tubes pass through deep-hole boring and roller burnishing equipment.
3. Finish turning: CNC slant-bed lathes machine the components.
4. Drilling: Holes are prepared with drilling equipment.
5. Grinding: Cylindrical grinding prepares required surfaces.

03 · Rod Surface Finishing

1. Pre-plating polishing: Surfaces are polished before plating.
2. Chrome plating: Specified components pass through chrome-plating equipment.
3. Post-plating polishing: Plated surfaces receive further polishing.

04 · Cleaning and Dust-Free Assembly

1. Cleaning: Parts are cleaned with cleaning equipment.
2. Assembly: Prepared components are installed in the assembly area.

05 · Testing, Painting and Labeling

1. Testing: Assembled cylinders are checked on testing equipment.
2. Painting: Exterior finishing is completed on the painting line.
3. Labeling: Labels are applied manually.

06 · Final Inspection and Shipment

1. Finished product inspection: Micrometers, vernier calipers and thickness gauges support relevant checks.
2. Inventory: Finished products are moved into storage with motorized and hydraulic forklifts.
3. Container loading: Forklifts and an electronic scale support shipment preparation.

 

Quality checks begin with incoming materials and continue through production and finished cylinder inspection. Our inspection and laboratory equipment includes cylinder test benches, a metallographic analyzer, a Brinell hardness tester, a salt spray test chamber and coating thickness gauges. The dimensional tools shown above include micrometers and vernier calipers.

Tests and acceptance criteria are selected for the product design and customer requirements. For new projects, we review drawings, key dimensions, working pressure and surface finish requirements before confirming the inspection plan.
